Any lead generating activity (paid or organic) should be tracked to a Salesforce campaign. As it relates to content, we’ll track each channel effort (Email, Social, etc.) within child campaigns. The campaigns should correspond to Campaigns and Projects in our project management system to keep things consistent.
We will always use the following naming convention to keep things simple.

Field values on the Salesforce Campaign object should match the values on our CID Structure guide. Values on Campaigns, Lead Source, tracking codes, etc. should all match as much as possible to standardize reporting.
